WHERE WE ARE

A few steps from the Basilica of St. Francis

Opposite the Metastasio Theater, in the main street that leads to the Basilica of San Francesco in just a few meters, is B&B Brunelli. The structure, “set” between the medieval walls that characterize the historic center of Assisi, has been completely restored and turned into an elegant bed & breakfast. Easily reachable on foot or by car (thanks to the numerous parking lots that surround the city walls) it is perfect for those who want to penetrate the alleys and the history of the city of the patron saint of Italy.

  • The B&B is located in Via Aluigi 2 – 06081 Assisi (PG)
  • You can find the apartment in Vicolo Venanzi, 6 – 06081 Assisi (PG)

Its history, the medieval walls, the churches and the patron saint of Italy, have transformed Assisi into the destination of millions of tourists every year who can also enjoy the landscape and the peaceful everyday life that distinguishes it. Excellent restaurants and walks in suggestive paths complete the tourist offer of Assisi.

Famous for the quality of its olive oil and the floral display of Corpus Domini in June, Spello is a small town at the foot of Mount Subasio, of Roman and Renaissance style near the larger Foligno.

The ancient rival of San Francesco, is today one of the most important university cities of Italy. This is obviously   Perugia. City of Etruscan origin, today it is also famous for being the organizer of many events, such as Umbria Jazz and Eurochocolate.

About 40/50 minutes drive from Assisi, we find other famous and characteristic cities like Spoleto, Montefalco and Orvieto.

The first,  Spoleto, has become half of an ever increasing number of tourists thanks to its tourist offer dedicated to shows, festivals (the most famous being the festival of two worlds), entertainment and historical structures.

Called “Terrace of Umbria” for its incredible 360 ° panorama,  Montefalco dominates the plains of the Clitunno and Topino rivers surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. The city is famous all over the world for its wines: Sagrantino and Rosso di Montefalco, whose production is allowed only in the municipalities of Montefalco as a whole, and part of those of Bevagna, Gualdo Cattaneo, Castel Ritaldi and Giano dell ‘ Umbria in the province of Perugia.

Finally Orvieto, one of the oldest towns in Italy, of Etruscan origin with settlements dating back to the 9th century BC Famous above all for the Duomo, it also offers excellent historical and artistic itineraries and splendid views.
